Getting ready in a hurry-and looking great while doing it!

College students have busy lives, there’s no doubt about it. And usually, the clothing choice of the students walking around campus shows it. Many girls come dressed to school in sweats, and even sometimes their pajamas, because of lack of time to get ready. Others say they just don’t know what to wear. Solution solved: here are some tips to getting ready in the morning without picking up those sweats, and looking great at the same time.

There are certain essentials every woman needs in her wardrobe, especially at this time of year:
                -Skinny jeans
                -Flats
                -Loose fitting shirt
                -Boots
                -Leggings
                -Cardigans
                -Semi-casual shirt
Any of these pieces will be a life saver when running short on time. They are versatile, comfortable and effortless.

In order to dress up an effortless look, ACCESSORIZE! Finish off a look with earrings, a scarf, necklace or even a hat. If there wasn’t enough time to put on makeup or to style hair, these items can take the focus away from a person’s face or hair, and instead bring the attention to the accessories. Additionally, they are simple and can be applied while running out the door.
Also, a tip that can make anyone’s life easier in the morning; try to get an idea of what to wear the next morning before going to bed, or even while trying to fall asleep. If an outfit is laid out in advance, all that has to be done is to wake up and throw on the outfit.

Students don’t have to dress like they’re ready for fashion week when they come to school, but leave the sweat pants at home. Even something as simple as a t-shirt and jeans looks better than rolling straight out of bed. Start putting your best look forward!

Pair a cardigan with a pair of leggings for a more comfortable look

Wear a semi-casual shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and boots (or flats!)

Put a scarf over a loose-fitting shirt for some extra flair

Finish off a look with a hat (or to over up a bad hair day!)

Tom Brady to be the new face of UGG

As if UGGs couldn't get any worse, they just have. The UGG brand has always been considered a women's brand, but not so much anymore. Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback, is now the face of UGG for men. Yes, men.

Angel Martinez, the CEO of Deckers Outdoor, which produces UGG products, announced on CNBC: "We decided that we needed to just get the word out there that it’s a brand for guys [and] give guys permission to wear UGG. And who better to give guys permission to wear UGG than … Tom Brady.”

The line, which will launch next fall, will include sheepskin slippers and boots, casual shoes, leather and cold-weather boots, accessories and outerwear- all for men.

Some say this endorsement will "crush his man-hood," and other believe it's a perfect fit. What to you think, is it UGG-tastic or "Uggh"?

New York Magazine reports shoppers spent just as much on H&M Lanvin as the actual label

The Lanvin for H&M line has had fashion gurus going crazy since the collection hit stores on Saturday. People from around the country waited hours for H&M to open in order to get their hands on some Lanvin.  New York Magazine  reports that nearly "300 shoppers had lined up at the H&M on Fifth Avenue in New York," and some waited as long as 13 hours to get inside. And these shoppers came with their pocket books ready.

Shoppers camp outside of H&M in San Diego for the Lanvin collection

Nicole Eng, a 27-year-old graphic designer, told New York Magazine, “It was this collection that really introduced me to Lanvin.” Eng ended up spending $1,700 and said it was "the most I’ve ever spent in my life."

Another shopper, Wenson Ho, spent close to $3,000 on the Lanvin collection for his wife. Ho told New York Magazine, "she is pregnant and can't be here, so I'm doing the run."

Many people, however, are criticising shoppers for spending so much money on this collection. With the amount that some paid, they easily could have purchased real Lanvin items. Ian Edwards, a shopper that commented on a New York Magazine posting, said:
"People who keep saying that you could have purchased real Lanvin are missing the point. They spent $1,800 at H&M on a Lanvin COLLABORATION and came out with TONS of articles for the money. For $1,800, you'd have been able to get, depending on the item, maybe one thing. Maybe 2 or 3 tops, if you just got something just to say you've got some Lanvin. $1,800 wouldn't go that far."

Could Emma Watson be the next Twiggy?

After nearly a decade of filiming the Harry Potter series, actress Emma Watson is finally breaking away from the long locks of her Hermoine Granger past. Now, she's rockin' the new, liberated version of herself with a pixie haircut. Watson told EW.com, "“I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I had the chance I was like, ‘Right. This is it.’”

In addition, Watson's reputation of being a style icon has increased over the past few years, as she's been featured in numerous fashion editorials and was even a spokesperson for Burberry. With her new pixie look, Watson looks similar to another Brit-style icon, Twiggy. Can we be bold enough to say that she's becoming the Twiggy of our generation? What do you think?

Prince William proposes to Kate Middleton with Princess Di's sapphire ring

The press is already saying that Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding will be the wedding of the century.

Prince William proposed to Kate while on "holiday" in Africa with a sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds, which belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana.

It was Princess Di's engagement ring to Prince Charles in the '80s, and was originally passed down to Prince Harry when Diana passed away. Harry thought that the ring belonged to the future Queen of England, and gave it to William to propose to Kate.

The Royal family officially announced on Tuesday that the two shall be married in the spring or summer of next year.
